Dukeries Long course open meet

Newark swimmers attended the Dukeries Long course open meet which was held on Saturday 1st September at Ponds Forge. This was the first meet of the season and despite the summer break many achieved PB’S and came home with some medals.

 

Swimmers included

Isaac Shaw who attained a PB in every event making a total of 6.

Charlotte Jones also did some fantastic swims attaining 4 PB’S.

Frankie Ward attained 1 PB but came home with a Gold medal for the 100 back, Bronze the 50 back and 200IM and silver in the 50 back.

Jamie love as well as maintaining many PB’S got silver medals in the 200, 100 and 50  free, the 50 fly and Bronze in the 50 back and breast.

Owen Hathway achieved 2 PB’S and got gold in the 100 free, and bronze for the 50 back and 100 fly.

Toby Love achieved 1 PB and received a  gold medal for the 200 fee, silver in the 50 breast and 200IM and Bronze in the 100 free 100 and 50 fly.

Dawid Grab achieved 4 PB’S and got gold in the 100 and 50 breast

Miles Shaw achieved 2 PB’S.
