19/05/12	Last weekend 6 Newark Sc members swam at the Mansfield and Arnold Acorn Meet at Hucknall . There was some great swimming with many top 3 places pb's ,another club record and some more Midland Qualifying times . For more info click here
16/05/12	For those swimmers who enjoyed the Age Group Champs , we are hosting a pre Olympic Swimming Event on the 14th July . Watch the web site for more information on what should be a fun and enjoyable evening .

16/05/12	The Midland Open Water Championship at Bosworth is on the 8th July this year . The minimum distance is 1500m around the lake and has always been well attended by Newark Swimmers in the past . There is a camp site next to the lake if anybody wishes to go and stay over . If anybody would like some more information or advice please talk to John or Della asap .
16/05/12	The closing date for entries to the Asa Midland Championships has now passed with 6 members of Newark achieving qualifying times . This year these 6 swimmers have managed to qualify in 30 events with Benjamin Palmer, Olivia Mathias and Ruth Money gaining full BAGCATS and Sophie Trickett, Georgie Proctor and Millie Bowes Hall achieving another 9 events between them . The Midlands are swam the 1st and 2nd weekends of June in the Olympic Pool at Coventry . Good luck to you all !!!
16/05/12	Last Sunday 6 members of Newark SC travelled to Birmingham to compete in the British Modern Biathalon Championships . All 6 members performed well with Ruth Money coming away with the British Biathalon Title for her age group !! For more detailed info click here.

28/04/12	Newark Swimming Club would like to thank all the swimmers and parents who attended the Age Group Presentation last night .It was a fantastic evening with loads of prizes given out and lots of dancing , fun and games !
25/04/12	The presentation night for the Age Group Champs is this Friday (27th April ) at Winthorpe Community Centre . ALL members are welcome even if they did not compete ! There will be drinks available and a fun disco and ALL swimmers who entered will receive a certificate . They will also receive a medal if they finished in the top 3 in a race .Please try to attend and show your appreciation for our members ! The disco starts at 7pm . Also the raffle will be drawn on the night .There is no charge for entry .
25/04/12	3 of our swimmers competed in the Doncaster Dartes Minster Meet last Sunday and did extremely well with Francesca Incerti finishing in 1st place overall and Amber Redmile in 2nd . Click here for an updated April Open Meets Results table.
22/04/12	Well done to the squad for an excellent 4th place at last nights Stage 2 Gala . Some good swims from all with 6 wins and 11 personal best times . For the results , Click Here !

17/04/12	The pb list has been updated with possible county times (to be confirmed by Notts Asa) . See the Timings section to have a look to see if you have any or if you are close to achieving one .
17/04/12	Last weekend several Newark Swimmers entered the City of Leicester level 2 Open Meet at Braunstone . This was a high standard meet and our swimmers performed well with loads of pb's , Midland Qualifying Times and a few club records . To view the results of this meet click here .
10/04/12	Well done to Ethan Wood and Francesca Incerti for being selected to train with Nova Centurion in the Newark Development Squad and also to Sophie Trickett who will be starting to move up to the Nottingham B squad shortly !
