
Club Captains Role Description
To be a point of contact for other swimmers to express any questions or feedback, communicating with fellow team members and provide support and advice where needed.
To provide a voice for athletes at the club and raise any issues to the committee when necessary.
To be a positive role model for all members of the club.
To encourage club members to be involved in social and voluntary activities.
Senior Captains and Vice Captains should help out on poolside at least once per week.
Senior Captains and Vice Captains will be school years 13, 12, 11 or 10
Junior captains will be born in 2014 (for 2025-26 season)
Junior captains have a maximum 1-year term, Senior Captains can have up to 4 years
Captains to be nominated by any poolside coach or committee member. Head Coach and Chair to make the final decision from the nomination forms.
