Newark SC is raising £14,000 to purchase a professional set of blocks & backstroke starting wedges.

Why are we raising money?

Since our fabulous Head Coach Adam McIntyre joined us in May 2023, we have seen great progress & success on the competitive scene. We recently hosted our first registered meet at the Active4Today Newark site. This brought to light that we are lacking equipment of a high enough quality to keep up with our progress. The club are in need of new starting blocks and back stroke wedges which comes to a total close to £14,000.

Community impact

By adding this equipment, we can provide a higher standard of training to aid our swimmers to compete at county, regional or even national level. That is already our trajectory as a club & we want to give our swimmers to best support in every area of their training.
