About the meet

This is a Level 3 event licensed by Swim England for entry into County and Regional Championships. All competitors must be members of an affiliated club, eligible to compete, and registered in accordance with Swim England laws and technical rules of racing.

The female category is for birth sex females in accordance with Swim England’s Transgender and Non-Binary competition policy. By entering the female category, a swimmer confirms that their birth sex is female.

Age groups

Age groups are based on the swimmer’s age as of 18 October 2026.

The competition

  1. Withdrawals must be made before the start of each session warm-up by a club coach or team manager.
  2. It is the swimmer’s responsibility to report to the competitors’ stewards when the event is called, ready for the start.
  3. Events are swum in integrated age groups, seeded by submitted times.
  4. All events are heat-declared winners. There will be no finals.
  5. Over-the-top starts will be at the referee’s discretion.
  6. All heats in each event will be spearheaded.
  7. Times and places on the electronic scoreboard are for information only and are not necessarily the final results. The referee’s decision is final.
  8. A secondary starting strobe will be available if needed — notify in advance if required.
  9. Backstroke ledges will be used.

Awards

  • Awards to Top Open/Male and Top Female.
  • Awards to the three fastest swimmers in each age group for each event.

Other information

  1. All swimmers and other personnel must abide by the Health and Safety rules of the venue. Anyone contravening these rules may be excluded from further participation.
  2. Coaches or team managers are responsible for their swimmers’ conduct at all times.
  3. The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to any competitor or other personnel.
  4. The viewing area has a maximum capacity of 224. Once reached, a one-out / one-in system will operate.
  5. Anything not covered in these rules is at the promoter’s discretion.
