Medal Table

Description: Responsible for organising and handing out medals to swimmers from the official results list. Duties include setting up the medal table and ensuring the correct medals are given to the right swimmers.

Refreshment Duty

Description: Preparing and serving drinks, sweets, and snacks to participants and spectators during the event.

Raffle Coordinator

Description: Arranging raffle prizes, selling tickets before and during the event, drawing the winning tickets, and handing all proceeds to the club treasurer.

Timekeeper (Interested in Helping)

Description: Recording the finishing times of swimmers using stopwatches or electronic timing pads. You will be closely supported by the Chief Timekeeper and Stroke Judges.

Team Manager

Description: Oversees the swimming team’s participation in competitions. Responsibilities include swimmer registration, check-in, managing team seating, communicating with officials, and supporting swimmers and parents.

Requirements: Must have completed the Foundation Safeguarding Course for Adults and hold a current DBS Check.

J1 (Judge Level 1) (Interested in Helping)

Description: Technical judge responsible for observing strokes, turns, and finishes to ensure swimmers follow the rules. Works under the Chief Referee.

Requirements: Must have completed the Foundation Safeguarding Course for Adults.

J2 (Judge 2)

Description: Supports the judging team with turn judging, finish judging, stroke verification, or other technical duties. Helps maintain fairness and integrity throughout the competition.

Requirements: Completion of relevant training including safeguarding awareness.
